Hey ladiessss! Guess who gets married ONE YEAR FROM TODAY?!?! :D
What do you ladies think of this dress? It's black, so obviously it wouldn't work, but if we end up making the dresses, how do you feel about this silhouette? Are you a fan of the tiered fabric? (I wonder if we could put pockets in it, since my dress has a sweetheart neckline and pockets...)

Hmmmm....interesting! I like the silhouette, but need try it on, because I'm not sure if the tiers would emphasize my hips too much. I'm open to the idea and love the idea for pockets :)
ReplyDeleteif we did make our dresses (Emma said that, including fabric--if we can find it--she could do the dresses for around $150 each).
ReplyDeleteThe best part about that would mean each one would be tailored specifically for us. i drew some samples, this type included, and she said no problem. we can talk on the weekend :)
@marina: what if there were no tiers, but we kept the same silhouette?

ReplyDeletei'm thinking that this silhouette (minus the tiers PLUS pockets) might be perfect. it's structured and could be really formal, but if we find a fun/funky fabric (either to sew them or that it already comes in) it would be that perfect mix of classy and laid-back...
